Slave-Free Alliance is part of an international non-profit group

Slave-Free Alliance is an international social enterprise, wholly owned by global anti-slavery charity Hope for Justice.

Slave-Free Alliance started in 2018 with a recognition of the need to support organisations in working towards slave-free operations and supply chains. Now, Slave-Free Alliance has a track record of supporting organisations of all sizes and from many sectors to build their resilience to modern slavery and labour exploitation.

Slave-Free Alliance is part of Hope for Justice’s portfolio of preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives, and reforming society across five continents. Both organisations regularly exchange know-how and resources, benefiting the people and organisations they serve. All profits from Slave-Free Alliance are invested into Hope for Justice to end slavery and change lives.

Who we are: Slave-Free Alliance’s team of experts

The Slave-Free Alliance team have direct experience of helping victims of modern slavery and supporting organisations to fulfil their corporate responsibilities. Those organisations we partner with are supported by our team of former law enforcement officers and experts in business management, procurement, supply chain and human rights.

Our former senior police leaders understand that many businesses can unwittingly have modern slavery in their supply chains, having led major UK police operations into forced labour in the commercial sector. These team members played pivotal roles in Operation Fort and the Kozee Sleep case, two of the biggest modern slavery prosecutions in UK history. The successful outcomes of these cases brought lasting improvements to police and commercial responses to modern slavery.

Our supply chain specialists have international experience in a variety of sectors across China and the Asia-Pacific region, North Africa, Europe, and the Near East. They utilise their social compliance, human rights, and auditing experience to improve the treatment of workers and have collaborated with household brands, NGOs, and government agencies to do so.

Our learning and development specialists have over 16 years’ collective experience in conducting training needs analysis and in designing and delivering training solutions internally and to clients across Europe and beyond.  With backgrounds in leadership, management, and a range of learning methods, the team have created regional strategies and delivered training solutions to executive through to junior levels of staff.
